Our piezosonic motor, which is an ultrasonic motor, can maintain its posture using friction force even when there is no current (when it is not powered or controlled). Since it does not use magnetic force or emit magnetism when driving, it is an ideal motor for transportation equipment such as tables, positioning mechanisms for robots, and equipment used in magnetic field environments such as MRI.
As a product incorporating this engine, we have developed and are selling the Mighty series, a transport AMR that can travel on rough surfaces by using the driving mechanism of the lunar surface exploration rover.
